Vote Now!

The top 10 proposals have now been selected for the William G. Davis Innovation Fund, announced by College’s Ontario to honour the legacy of William G. Davis in playing a vital role in creating Ontario’s college system and celebrating the 50th Anniversary. This fund supports innovative thinking and initiatives from aspiring visionaries, artists, humanitarians or entrepreneurs who want to leverage their college education to start something amazing.

We are proud to announce that Elicia Durtnall (2015, Web Design and Interactive Media), in collaboration with Emerson Stewart (2015, Web Design and Interactive Media), has reached the top 10 with the Helpr Community App, which creates a streamlined volunteering experience that benefits high school students and communities. As part of the Humber family, we ask that you take a few minutes to vote for Elicia and the Helpr Community proposal. Online voting is now open and will continue until November 5th.

Voting can also be done in person on Monday, October 16, 2017 outside the Learning Resource Commons when the College’s Ontario Amazing 50 Trailer Tour rolls its way into Humber. The trailer will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and you will have an opportunity to vote in addition to other fun activities that day.

The first-place winner will receive $15,000 to help fund the initiative. The person who finishes second will receive $5,000.
