Leanne and Sarah explain how incorporating multimodal texts into teaching practice can increase student success and engagement, and share the organic process behind their ongoing TIF-supported research.

"I have a background in film, that's what I did for my undergrad, and when I came to teaching, immediately I noticed in my first WRIT 100 class that there was some resistance and some reluctance to the material. My instinct was, 'How can I engage these students?'" - Leanne Milech
