Humber Welcomes Journalist and Author Steve Paikin

As part of Humber’s 50th anniversary celebrations, an event was held yesterday with a book signing and discussion by journalist Steve Paikin.

Paikin, who is a long-time broadcaster on TVO and a recipient of a Humber honorary degree, was discussing his book Bill Davis: Nation Builder, and Not So Bland After All. The book is the only authorized biography of former Ontario premier Bill Davis, who is widely credited with the creation of Ontario's community college system.  Humber will also honour Bill Davis who will receive an Honorary degree this June at convocation.

During the event, copies of Paikin's book were available for purchase, with proceeds going towards Humber's 50th anniversary scholarship fund.

A recording of Steve Paikin’s talk will be made available to all staff in the near future.
