On Tuesday, May 3rd, flags at our campuses will be lowered to half-mast in memory of Hasibul (Hasib) Alam. Hasib was in the Hospitality – Hotel and Restaurant Operations Management program in the Faculty of Business. He passed away on April 2nd.

The Humber community is deeply saddened by Hasib’s sudden and untimely death.  The College has been in contact with Hasib’s family to express our condolences, and will continue to provide support to faculty, staff and students who knew him. As Hasib was in his final term of his program, Humber will present his family with his credential, awarded posthumously. It is clear from communications with family, peers, and faculty, that Hasib was a dedicated learner and bright light for those who knew him.
