Micro-Credential Offerings for the Winter Term

Interested in honing your skills as an educator? Enrolling in Innovative Learning’s micro-credentials is a great way to learn the most up to date and current teaching and learning practices that you can implement straight into your classroom.

For the Winter 2026 term, Innovative Learning will be offering two online asynchronous micro-credentials: Curriculum Design & Development and Teaching & Learning in HyFlex Environments. These micro-credentials are available to all Humber employees, and there is no cost associated. For more details, please see below.

Curriculum Design & Development: CRDD 001

Familiarizes faculty with the curriculum development process. Faculty will review ways to plan and create a well-designed and thoughtfully sequenced curriculum for a course or program.

Teaching & Learning in HyFlex Environment: TLHE 001

Introduces faculty to the methods, practices, and tools for adapting an existing in-person lesson plan for HyFlex teaching. Faculty will review strategies and methods to create a learning experience that engages learners in all three modalities and ensures an equivalent experience for all students.
