In the upcoming weeks, two significant changes to MyHumber will occur:
- Banner 8 Self-Service (SSB8) to Banner 9 Self-Service (SSB9) upgrade, which will impact certain applications within MyHumber
- MyHumber interface will change with the introduction of Ellucian Experience
Modernization with Banner 9 Self-Service
The move from SSB8 to SSB9 is a necessary upgrade driven by the end-of-support for SSB8, ensuring our Humber Polytechnic experience remains modern, secure and fully supported. SSB9 delivers a cleaner interface with enhanced navigation, improved accessibility and reduced reliance on legacy dependencies. Some pages in MyHumber already exist in SSB9 (e.g., Student Profile).
MyHumber’s Elevated Digital Experience
With the move from SSB8 to SSB9 brings an elevated user experience on MyHumber. The upgrade will enable a unified, personalized digital hub that brings critical information, tasks and tools together in one intuitive, role-based interface, reflecting our priority to reimagine learning and drive impactful outcomes. Students, faculty and staff will gain more unified access to BlackBoard, schedules, grades, notifications and key campus resources all in one place.
