#MyHumberStory: Journalism Grad Shares the Keys to Communications

Tim Duboyce, a Journalism graduate from 1997, currently serves as Consultant and Principal at Tim Duboyce Communication & Strategies, headquartered in Montreal. Drawn by his proficiency in the French language and promising career prospects, Tim relocated from Ontario to Quebec, embarking on a successful journalistic journey with CBC.

Having spent 20 years in the field of journalism, Tim eventually redirected his focus toward communications and public relations. This shift allowed him to leverage the versatile skillset he honed during his time at Humber, aiding corporations and charities across various sectors in effectively conveying their narratives.

Tim strongly emphasizes the significance of transparency and authenticity in both journalism and communications, particularly in the realm of storytelling. During his education at Humber, he grasped the importance of disseminating accurate and factual information, always prioritizing the audience and the public.
