The National Day of Mourning is held annually in Canada and other countries around the world on April 28. On this day, workers, families, employers and others honour those workers who have been killed, been injured or suffered illness on the job.
Campus flags will be flown at half-mast on April 28.
Let us continue working together to renew our efforts to continually improve health and safety in the workplace. To observe the day and to learn more about the National Day of Mourning or to write a tribute, visit wsibdayofmourning.ca.
