On November 22, retired Humber professor and prolific author John Steckley published his 22nd book: Parrots: The Flock Among Us, Rock's Mills Press. While the book talks about parrots in general (e.g., 10 ways in which a parrot is different from a dog), emphasis is placed on the nine parrots who currently live in the Steckley household. Readers will learn about the amazing intelligence of these parrots, and this shows up in how they interact with each other and with their owners.

The book will be launched on Saturday, December 2nd, at 1 p.m., at Forster's Book Garden in Bolton.
