The Office of Research and Innovation is shining the Faculty Rock Star spotlight on Hamid Dehkordi, professor in the Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology (FAST) at Humber.  

With more than seven years of post-secondary teaching experience, Hamid is a researcher and educator who is passionate about conducting applied research and promoting a lifelong love for learning and knowledge. 

Hamid shares that he is dedicated to helping his students develop both technical and soft skills through hands-on research projects. He states, “One of the things that we as faculty members can teach students is by being role models for soft skills, by being punctual, being persistent, and not being afraid to express our ideas.”
