Details:
- In order to facilitate smooth traffic flow into the new 1000 car parking garage, the existing two parking booths on Arboretum Blvd accessed from road entrance A and road entrance E will be removed. The visitor’s Kiosk at Lot 7 will remain as is.
- Parking gates and access control will be added to parking Lots 1, 3 and 13. Please see ‘Parking Gates Project’ diagram.
- All parking lots will remain operational during construction but some vehicular traffic diversion will be implemented as needed. An alternate access to Lot 13 will be required during part of the construction period, and signs will be posted directing traffic as needed.
- In addition, near gate A, Arboretum Blvd will be widened alongside the Bus Loop to accommodate a new left turn lane into the new parking garage.
- Repaving of a portion of Arboretum Blvd will be phased over the Summer and Fall of 2018
