We are excited to share details of the 2025 Support Staff Professional Development (SSPD) event, which focuses on professional development for support staff. This year will mark our 35th year celebrating a support staff development event. 

This year, the sessions will be hybrid (in-person and virtual) over the course of four days from Tuesday, March 4 to Friday, March 7. 

Our support staff are vitally important in helping us deliver on our programs and services to students and employees. This year’s professional development sessions focus on career growth and development, technology and innovation, sustainability, personal well-being and mental health, as well as equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging. There will be 17 workshops that will be delivered on these topics over the course of four days.

Registration for the sessions is open to all support staff employees (full-time, part-time, casual, temporary).
