It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Tara Lew has decided to spread her wings and take on an exciting new role as Educational Consultant with the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management, Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services.

In her 15 years at Humber, Tara has touched many people. She is the heart and soul of the Teaching Effectiveness Certificate (TEC), a key mentor for new part time instructors and the energy behind many workshops. In the time I have worked with Tara, she has been a member of the design team for the Inclusive Design Certificate, the re-imagining of the TEC resources and most recently, ensuring the online deployment of TEC. Tara’s enthusiasm for teaching and learning, compassion for people, and engaging methods will be greatly missed.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 27th, 3 - 5 p.m., in the community room (NX111) at the North campus to celebrate with Tara before she moves to her next adventure.
