To all faculty and academic partners,
Test Centre Reminders
- For learners to be able to schedule their exam in the Test Centre, faculty must first submit a test through the Testing Services link in their course content in Blackboard or CourseLink. Learners will not be able to make an appointment without a test being available first.
- To learn how to submit a test on Blackboard or CourseLink, please watch this short instructional video.
- In Blackboard, please ensure that you have made the Testing Services link visible to students so that they can see it in their course content. You have two options for this step:
- On the Testing Services link, click on “Hidden from students” and switch it to “Visible to students” – this allows all learners in your course to see the Testing Services Link and make an appointment in the Test Centre, or;
- On the Testing Services link, click on “Hidden from students” and switch it to “Release conditions” – this will prompt you to select the specific learners in your course who can see the Testing Services Link and make an appointment in the Test Centre. A tutorial on release conditions can be found here.
- Once you have submitted your test and it has been approved, and you have made the link visible in Blackboard, you can let learners know that they are able to book their exam by clicking on the Testing Services link. Learners must book their appointment 48 hours ahead of time.
- We do not accept paper test drop offs. If only a paper copy of the exam is available, please scan it, and upload it with your test submission.
- Please connect with us via email at testingservices@humber.ca, or call us at x4712 for North or x3228 for Lakeshore if you need any support with your test submission.
Finals Fall 2022
This semester, both accommodated learners and non-accommodated learners are able to take their final exams in the Test Centre. Non-accommodated learners can book their appointments through the same Testing Services Link. We have extended our service hours to allow for a higher volume of students.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support of all learners.
