As many of you are aware, Panopto is a platform used for creating, managing, and sharing educational video content. To improve the management of older videos, we recently revised our storage procedures. Further adjustments to the timeline and notification method have been made to make the process more user-friendly. 

Overview of Changes 

• Updated Process Videos that have not been viewed for over three years are now archived and are visually marked with a grayed-out appearance under the 'Archived' icon. Please note that due to Panopto’s platform limitations individual email notifications for video deletions are not possible. This update simplifies the process of identifying and managing videos that are set for deletion. 

• Extended Deadline The video deletion deadline has been extended to March 9, 2025, giving users an extra month to review and save important videos to OneDrive for secure, long-term storage. 

Preserving Your Archived Videos If there are videos users wish to keep, they can unarchive them, download, and save them to their Humber OneDrive account. Saving videos to OneDrive is recommended for its generous storage capacity, providing a secure place for long-term storage.
