On February 17, Humber Students will be visiting TJX Canada’s Homesense Store, in Heartland, Mississauga. The tour will be conducted by a TJX Buyer who will share insights on their career beginning, products that were purchased internationally, and negotiation strategies.
Students will also learn about how a store operates from concept to retail. They will familiarize themselves with the store’s day-to-day operations and develop an understanding of merchandise flow within TJX Canada’s stores.
Students will also have a Q&A session with the Buyer and Store Manager to best understand the intricacies involved with running a successful TJX Canada Store.
