The integrity of the faculty/student relationship is a key foundation of Humber College’s educational mission. This relationship confers significant trust in the faculty member, who, in turn, assumes authority and accountability as an educator, evaluator, coach and mentor.

Enhance, expand and upgrade your management skills with our new certificate:
Managing in the VAW (Violence Against Women) Sector
Designed to meet the needs of those working in non-profit agencies that serve women who experience violence, the Managing in the VAW Sector Certificate prepares you to enter management positions and equips you with the skills required to maintain best practices and build resources.
Courses are offered once a week in the evenings. There are four courses to complete and the certificate is designed to be completed in one academic year.

With the holidays fast approaching, to ensure that payments due before the end of this calendar year are paid, all invoices, travel & expense claims etc., must be received by Accounts Payable no later than Monday, December 15, 2014, 4:30 p.m.
The last payment run for the 2014 calendar year will be Friday, December 19th, 2014. Due to College closures, the next payment run will be Thursday, January 8th, 2015.

Notice of Construction Project
J Building Curtain Wall
Project has been scheduled for: Monday December 15th to Friday December 19th
Daily 7:30am until 6pm
Purpose: To install a new exterior glass curtain wall on J building.
Location: J Building across from J-102 on the first floor and J-201 on the second floor.
The exterior glass curtain wall on J building is being replaced between December 15th and 19th 2014. During this time, some areas on the 1st and 2nd floor near the construction may be limited for safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors. Construction notices will be placed around the area of construction to direct circulation.
The site will be cleaned on a daily basis at the end of the day, and minor noise is anticipated.

With the holidays fast approaching and the college closing at noon on December 24, 2014, to ensure that all staff receives their final pay of the year (December 24, 2014), all paperwork relating to payroll must be received by the Payroll Department no later than December 12, 2014, 4:30 p.m.
With the first pay in January 2015 being in the same week the college re-opens, all paperwork relating to the first pay of the new year (January 9, 2015) must be received by the Payroll Department no later than December 18, 2014, 4:30 p.m.
