This is a continuation of Excel Ninja 1.0. In this three part mini-series you will learn how to further advance your knowledge of Microsoft Excel through the use of complex functions (ex. index, match, search) to solve common administrative problems. You will learn how to work efficiently with Excel through a hands-on approach.

Join your colleagues Charlotte Serpa and Dennis Long from the Humber Harm Reduction Partnership for a lunch and learn discussion about harm reduction and the current opioid overdose epidemic. We'll provide coffee, tea, and snacks, and you're welcome to bring your lunch.

We'll be covering:

  • Harm Reduction definition and examples
  • The historical context of the public health movement
  • An exploration of the question, "what is success in harm reduction work?"
  • Discussing various harm reduction tools like naloxone and treatment pathways
  • Identify harm reduction programs in the GTA and how their work and policies may be connected to ideas being explored in different courses and programs taught at Humber

The Connect Buddy Program provides a support team for new international students by creating an opportunity for students to connect with a faculty, staff or admin person (who will be their Faculty/Staff Mentor) and a returning student (who will be their Senior Student Buddy) to ensure our first semester students are welcomed and well-adjusted to life at Humber.

Since Tracy joined the College in 2013, she has been a valuable and well-respected resource to Humber both as a respected advisor in her role as Co-Chair of the Executive Advisory Council and as the Associate Vice President of Legal and Risk Management.
