Humber College will be holding a R.A.D. Self Defense Training session on March 29 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lakeshore Campus in Athletics Studio A. You will learn a basic introduction to self-defense and advanced escape methods.

It is a $500 training session but completely free for female Humber/Guelph-Humber students and staff/faculty. It will be a great workout and learning experience.

The Early Childhood Education Student Council is hosting a Fundraiser Book Sale in the main concourse upper level at North Campus. The ECE Student Council has collected 1,000 books from donations and they are being sold for 1 to 2 dollars.

All money raised will be donated to a community organization serving children and families in the Etobicoke community. 

Join IGNITE Student Union, in partnership with the Centre for Entrepreneurship, on March 28 for a dynamic and engaging event where everyone will have the opportunity to network with LinkedIn celebrities, industry leadership professionals, and other avid, like-minded students. Featuring a speaker panel that includes LinkedIn celebrities like Joze Piranian and Daniel Francavilla.

The evening will be a combination of professional speaking and networking sessions with refreshments provided. Let's get out there to leave the daily grind of sales pitches behind and just connect, mix and mingle.
