These one-day workshops will enhance your photography knowledge and take it to the next level. Gain the skills you need to capture live action shots and in the moment images. Spend the day in Kensington Market with our seasoned photographer, Jason DiMichele, and explore best practices for street photography. How about a trip to the Toronto Zoo to practice capturing the best wildlife photos? These are just some of the settings our workshops will take place at. Our small size groups will also allow individual attention and one-on-one guidance. Take one or all four of our classes!

This Father's Day, celebrate Dad with a unique Father's Day gift. Brewing Small Batch Beers is a two-session course starts from raw ingredients all the way to packaged beer. Students will be provided with a Brooklyn Brewshop kit with a choice of three different beer styles (Afternoon Wheat or Everyday IPA or Oatmeal Stout). The brew day will go through the process of mashing, lautering, boiling, cooling, sanitation and yeast pitching. The wort is left to ferment for two weeks as the yeast transforms the wort into beer. When the beer is fully fermented students will return for session two to package the beer into bottles to take home and enjoy!

Cost is $299 per person.

Calling all innovative educators who are looking to implement new strategies in their classroom. Cutting EDge is back. In version 3.0, our theme is "Interactive Videos: What do your videos do for you?"

What is Cutting EDge?

The CTL's Cutting EDge is a research project where faculty come together to learn new innovative teaching strategies/tools/techniques focused around a theme. Once faculty have mastered the new strategy, they deploy them in their classrooms, with on-site support from the CTL's Professional Learning and e-Learning teams. Then, the CTL's Research team gathers evidence from faculty and their students on the impact of the innovative new teaching approaches.
