While at Humber, Larry has served on numerous committees, including the Joint Occupational Health & Safety Committee, College Council, Marketing Liaison Committee, Orientation Steering Committee, Emergency Response Team, School Convocation Coordinators, Space Standards Ad Hoc Committee, Banner Enhancement Working Group, HRMS Project Consultation Team and the Communication Leads Team.

Larry’s last day will be August 31.

We would like to invite his Humber friends and colleagues to join us to formally recognize his valuable contribution to the growth and success of The School of Applied Technology. Please mark on your calendars, Wednesday, August 29 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in room KB 111 (Seventh Semester) to say goodbye in person and wish him well for the next stage of his life.

After 34 years of valued service to the Humber community, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Beverley Bonello, effective August 31, 2018.

In her early days at Humber, Bev transitioned through a number of roles, including in the Registrar’s Office, the Pre-Service Firefighter Education and Training program, and Conference Services. It is her association with Athletics while in these roles that we wish to highlight, as it intertwined throughout her career at Humber.

Bev was an integral part of the registration process that assisted potential student athletes and it was here that her passion for Humber Athletics began. She was also an ardent fan, supporting teams from the stands and celebrating their victories. In 1997, she was presented with the first-ever Humber Athletics Spirit Award.

Her involvement in “all things” Athletics was highlighted once again in her time with Conference Services. She promoted the facilities to the community and brought the public into the Humber Athletic Centre for a plethora of events. Humber became a hotbed of provincial and national events, across many unique sports.

Over her final eight years, she continued to make a positive impact in her role as the Business and Office Coordinator. Besides streamlining and improving business procedures, she has worked on high-profile events and took an active role with Humber Varsity Alumni.

The Humber Athletic Department would like to recognize and congratulate Bev on her fine career at Humber, and would like to invite the community to attend a celebration of her career at Humber on:
