The week of May 6-12 is Emergency Preparedness Week across Canada. The Department of Public Safety’s Emergency Management program is hosting a special information table in the LRC Concourse on Tuesday, May 8 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Students, staff and faculty are invited to drop by and learn about emergency preparedness at Humber College and how you can be prepared for and keep yourself safe during emergencies. The first 200 people to stop by will also get a free cookie baked by students in the baking lab here at Humber College!

“It is important to remember that no community is immune to emergencies,” said Kathy Branton, manager of Business Continuity and Emergency Management. “Faculty, staff and students should keep in mind that it is up to each of us to do our part and be prepared.”
