In order to be successful in developing a research plan, it’s important to explore what has already been done in the existing literature. In this session, we will share tips and tricks for identifying and searching through the relevant literature, with the help of Humber’s library team. 

This is the second event in the Humber Research Series, jointly offered by the Office of Applied Research and Innovation and the Centre for Teaching and Learning. Participants are welcome to come to one session, a few sessions, or the entire series.

Whether you are teaching a leadership course or not, this community of practice will bring together faculty passionate about the leadership development of our students. Themes and topic matters to be covered will be determined by the community of practice participants. Join us for this community of practice and meet with other passionate leading faculty to share your experiences, highlights, challenges, resources, “go to” activities and best practices in building student leaders.

Pregnancy Massage at The Humber Massage Therapy Student Clinic

We are looking for participants in any stage of pregnancy that would like to take part in a free 2-hour massage therapy session. Participants will be assessed and treated by Humber students in their 3rd semester of the six semester Massage Therapy Program.

Appointments available October 11th, 12th, 14th, and 17th 2016.

Humber has just launched Ensemble Video, our new streaming video platform. Faculty can now seamlessly upload, manage and share their educational video content with colleagues and students. 

In this workshop, you will learn how to upload your videos to Ensemble and share them with students in Blackboard. The caption creation and annotation tools will also be demonstrated.

Mac Lenters

Mac Lenters' paintings chronicle perceived states of being. His paintings showcase how tangible narratives can be transformed into geometric abstractions. Conjuring up feelings of longing and joy, the work itself attempts to combine the mundane and metaphysical while maintaining representational forms, bidding to marry the known and unknown.
