Are you teaching in one of the HIVES classrooms (3rd and 4th floor F building, North) this year? Are you curious about Humber’s new interactive spaces? Come and explore the features of these rooms and practice using the technology (interactive touchscreen, control panel for wall screens, etc.). We hope that you leave feeling inspired and confident to teach in these classrooms.
Everyone is welcome! You do not need to be assigned to a HIVES classroom to attend.

Please join us for the following Learning Management System (LMS) demo sessions. In an attempt to survey the current LMS marketplace and analyze Humber’s LMS needs, Blackboard has been invited to showcase their Learn and Ultra Experience LMS products.

November 2, 9 & 16, 2016
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Community Room, NX111, North Campus
Non-threatening as well as challenging, this training series will serve as the foundation for understanding diversity and inclusion in the workplace using the Deep Diversity framework. Over the course of three sessions, participants will learn how predominant the unconscious mind is in human interactions and how it results in micro-inequities in the workplace. Individuals who are interested in attending this series are required to commit to and attend all three sessions. All participants will be provided with a copy of the text Deep Diversity and are required to read it prior attending the workshop.
