This Monday, October 24, plan to attend the first Strategic Plan Town Hall session of the year. Join us from 12-1 p.m. in Seventh Semester at North Campus to engage with Senior VP, Academic Laurie Rancourt on the topic of Humber’s Centre for Entrepreneurship and Centres of Innovation.
Town Halls are hosted by President Whitaker as part of our institutional commitment to engage faculty and staff on topics relevant to our strategic direction.

First-year Landscaping students did a great job this week getting the planting started on the Humber Arboretum's new bird-friendly garden. On Saturday, you can help finish the job and get some hands-on learning of your own!
When it's finished, the new bird-friendly garden that the Humber Arboretum is building in partnership with Bird Studies Canada will show homeowners how they can make their own backyard more bird-friendly based on their plant choices and the habitat structures they provide.
At this family-friendly event you can learn about the garden design and the types of birds the garden is expected to attract. Get a demonstration of the correct way to use binoculars (it's not as easy as you think!), see what birds you can spot at the Arb, help set-up new bird feeders, and take part in some of the final fall plantings.
When: Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Humber Arboretum (at the back of the Humber College North Campus)
