As part of the implementation of the 2013-18 Strategic Plan, President Whitaker hosts regular Town Hall Meetings designed to engage faculty and staff on topics related to Humber’s strategic directions.  

Our next topic – Academic Integrity – has been a hot topic in the post-secondary education sector.  Join President Whitaker and Associate Vice President, Teaching and Learning Eileen DeCourcy on Wednesday February 10th in the 7th Semester to hear about how Humber is addressing this issue.  A light lunch will be provided.

Humber College’s North Campus will host the launch of the Unlock Your Big Idea Pitch Competition on Tuesday, February 9 from 4-6 p.m. in the Learning Resource Commons. Participants will have the chance to compete for a share of $62,500 to help accelerate their business.

The competition will be delivered in partnership with the Peel members of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs, including HumberLaunch, the Brampton Entrepreneur Centre, I-CUBE, the Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre and the RIC Centre. The aim of Unlock Your Big Idea is to support innovation and economic development in the community by helping entrepreneurs take their business ideas from concept to commercialization.
