One of the goals of the Connect Program (collaboratively organized by the International Centre and the Centre for Teaching and Learning) is to improve the academic, social and psychological performance of international students as they transition to life in Canada and at Humber College ITAL.

In addition to providing mentoring, the Connect Program offers a number of general and academic workshops to international students. The academic workshops address some of the academic issues that many international students might find challenging and are designed and delivered by a group of Humber faculty members. We would appreciate your support promoting these workshops among your international students. They can register via the links provided below.

Join a group of musical clowns as they take over a ramshackle circus and create a new show in which everyday actions become extraordinary, and the mundane becomes the absurd. Inspired by the works of Federico Fellini, Bouffon mockery, and Vaudeville-era burlesque comedy,

Humber Theatre’s THE CLOWNS runs from February 19 to 27. This highly physical devised production features the creative work of Humber College’s graduating Theatre Performance and Theatre Production students. It is co-created and directed by Michele Smith and Dean Gilmour, with music direction by John Millard.

DIY workshop that will help guide you to achieve your goals of having a dream kitchen/bathroom, or both! This workshop is an open for everyone to register.

Two options for workshop availability:

Option 1: Tuesday Feb 23 and Thursday Feb 25
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Option 2: Saturday Feb 27
9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Registration:
Available online only - click workshop title to register.
Payments can be made using Visa, MasterCard or Interac® Online.
On-site registration at the workshop is not available.
Open to all ages, but if you are under 18, permission from a parent/guardian is required.
Workshops not meeting minimum enrollment requirements will be cancelled and a full refund and notice will be sent to all registered participants.

Cost: $95

Transfers & Refunds:
A one-time transfer between workshops is allowed up to five (5) business days prior to the start of a workshop. All transfers are subject to workshop availability. Withdrawal from a workshop must be done at least five (5) business days prior to the start of a workshop. A $25 administration fee will be applied.

Quill box workshop! We have 10 spaces available for the upcoming workshop. It takes place Tuesday, February 23rd and Wednesday, February 24th from 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. Participants are still able to register if you're only able to attend from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for both days.

Attendance is required for both days as making a quill box requires special instructions.
