The Pan Am Games Torch Relay is coming to Humber College on July 6th! A community celebration packed with entertainment, games, music and food will be filling Colonel Sam Smith Park. Less than a week to go before the Pan Am Torch Relay Community Celebration!

Get ready to celebrate the arrival of the Pan Am Flame on July 6th at Colonel Sam Smith Park (3145 Lake Shore Blvd W.) 

The park springs to life at 5 p.m. with food trucks, games and entertainment for the whole family. From 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. the Toronto cover band Rookie takes the stage with hits from the 60's, 70's and 80's. At 6:45 p.m. a welcoming ceremony is held before the Pan Am Flame runs into the park to thunderous cheers at 7 p.m. Speeches will be made followed by a special performance by Juno award winning artist Quique Escamilla. At 8 p.m. it's time to go home and look at all those awesome photos you took. 

You won't want to miss this event.

Humber Jr. Hawks Summer Sports Camp camps are an 8 week summer camp program designed to promote healthy active living and participation in sport amongst youth. The camps are developed to foster skill development, physical activity and the ability to create lasting friendships. 

Cost: $150.00 plus tax/week
Jr. Hawks Camps are appropriate for participants, aged 6–14

Instructors will be Humber Hawks Varsity athletes who are passionate about youth and sport. All instructors will have completed background checks and will be CPR/First Aid certified.

Humber's innovative Community Music School celebrates 35 years of achievement with a “Jazz Hang” at The Rex Hotel Jazz and Blues Bar, from 12 to 6 pm. The afternoon features performances by a number of notable Canadian musicians, including Kirk MacDonald, Lorne Lofsky and Brian Dickinson, along with Montreal, Boston and New York-based graduates returning to Toronto for this event.
