GCC is a 100 day fitness challenge that employees participated in. This event is to celebrate everyone's accomplishments. There will be a quick awards ceremony, some smoothies and access to fitness info. It is being held on February 17th from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. in the concourse.

TJX Canada Store Tour

On February 17, Humber Students will be visiting TJX Canada�۪s Homesense Store, in Heartland, Mississauga. The tour will be conducted by a TJX Buyer who will share insights on their career beginning, products that were purchased internationally, and negotiation strategies.

Students will also learn about how a store operates from concept to retail. They will familiarize themselves with the store�۪s day-to-day operations and develop an understanding of merchandise flow within TJX Canada�۪s stores. 

Students will also have a Q&A session with the Buyer and Store Manager to best understand the intricacies involved with running a successful TJX Canada Store.

The winner(s) will advance to the Skills Ontario Mechatronics Competition in May 2016. Winners of Skills Ontario will advance to Skills Canada in June 2016 and, potentially, World Skills International in Dubai in 2017.
