Eight teams comprised of students from Culinary and Baking & Pastry Arts programs will be competing for the coveted title of Winner – Iron Chef Competition, 2015. In this competition, students get the unique opportunity to create and write their own menus, showcase their cooking techniques and abilities and use of key ingredients all while competing against their peers.

Donna Dooher, President and CEO, Restaurants Canada
John Placko, Culinary Director, Modern Culinary Academy.

Retirement Reception for Anna Borg

After 26 years of dedicated service, Anna Borg is retiring from Humber. Please join us to celebrate her retirement at a farewell reception in her honour on:

In lieu of gifts, Anna has requested that a scholarship be established in the name of her late son, Ryan McDowell. The scholarship will address Ryan’s passion for working with children and his keen interest in technology:

Presented to a first year student entering one of the following programs:
Child and Youth Care, Early Childhood Education or
Computer Engineering Technology
who exemplifies leadership qualities through extra‐curricular activities
and demonstrates a passion for life and helping others.
Students must also demonstrate financial need.
