THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN, co-created and directed by Varrick Grimes and Kiersten Tough, features the work of graduating Humber College Theatre Performance and Theatre Production students. Inspired by the works of Al Pittman, Virgil and Shaun Tan, THIS SIDE OF HEAVEN is a highly physical, devised production that uses promenade staging and recycled objects to explore themes of exile and displacement.

There are only three shows remaining:

  • Thursday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Friday, February 20 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 21 at 2 p.m.
$20 for adults; $10 for students and seniors; $5 for Humber Theatre alumni

The Association for Bright Children of Ontario (ABC) is holding its 2015 Conference on February 20-21, 2015 at Humber College, North Campus.

At the 2015 Conference, ABC are expecting an attendance of approximately 100-150 motivated attendees who support educational, emotional and social needs of bright and gifted children. Attendees may include parents and caregivers, educators, mental health professionals and others from across Ontario and possibly other provinces.

The main topic of this year’s ABC Conference is ‘Mental Health and Wellness’. This conference will provide an excellent opportunity to gain and share knowledge on the impacts and challenges in teaching, guiding and parenting bright and gifted children.

This event will take place at the North Campus during Reading Week. Attendees will be utilizing space on the main campus in E building as well as their volunteers parking in Lot 1 and delegates parking in Lot 4 & 5.
