Set to open in 2016, the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre will take up 200 square feet of Humber College's new Welcome Centre at the corner of Lakeshore Blvd. W. and Kipling Ave. in Toronto
Through arts, culture, and storytelling, the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre will be a space of harmony and knowledge around themes of education, mental health, Aboriginal history, environmental sustainability, and civic engagement.

Did you know that Humber's Lakeshore campus was once home to the Mimico Branch Asylum? It was also a large aboriginal trading path and is still home to a rich natural landscape.
