Humber Theatre’s performance of This Side of Heaven on Sunday February 15 will be a benefit performance for the Catherine Marrion Scholarship. All tickets will be $20 and all proceeds will go to a scholarship foundation which has been established to honour long-time faculty member, Catherine Marrion, retiring from teaching at the end of this year.

Established by friends and colleagues, the Catherine Marrion Scholarship is for a returning Theatre Performance student who, through commitment, effort and demonstrated professionalism, despite financial or personal challenges, has made extraordinary progress in his/her work.

Catherine taught in Humber College’s Theatre Performance program since 1988 and joined the full time faculty in 1997. She taught Voice and Movement and guided the Movement curriculum until her retirement from full-time work in June 2014. For several years she also taught Voice for Humber’s Acting for Film and Television program.

Please join us to celebrate Catherine’s career and her influence on so many students – and help us raise the money to support the scholarship in perpetuity.

To book tickets, phone 416-675-6622 ext.3080 or email humber.theatre@humber.ca or donate online at: humber.ca/giving/tribute/catherine-marrion-scholarship
