Are you an entrepreneur looking for funding options?
Want more information on the types of funding your business can receive from your local BMO bank?

When starting up a business, it is important to create a banking relationship. On November 18th (Lakeshore Campus) and November 20th (North Campus), members from the Bank of Montreal (BMO) will be speaking about what you need to know about bank accounts, financing your business, and what kind of costs you can expect to incur. We have four speakers for each session coming in to talk more about what they can do for you and can answer any questions or concerns you may have.

She has built successful healing programs and Aboriginal sensitivity training locally for First Nations Technical Institute (FNTI), Nipissing First Nation, Ryerson University and internationally in Akwesasne, New York, and Indigenous communities in Chile, South America.

New international students are about to face their first Canadian winter. Many have already prepared for it, but others did not anticipate the bitter reality of Toronto’s winter temperatures or the cost of a good quality jacket.

This is where the Enactus Group’s “Warm Welcome” initiative takes action. Enactus Humber has partnered with the Humber International Centre to collect and distribute as many coats and jackets as possible in the hopes that no international student goes cold this winter. Coats are particularly needed, but gently used accessories (hats, scarves, and mitts) are also welcome

On November 17 and 18, we will be collecting gently used winter wear in the GH building atrium (North) and the Humber International Centre (D224 North, H100A Lakeshore) from 10:30-2:30. The coats will be distributed later in the week.

We need your help in participating through donating and spreading the word. Please mention this “Warm Welcome” campaign event to your peers, co-workers, and classroom students.

This winter, no student should go without this basic necessity. Share the warmth.
