It is an opportunity for students to develop an appreciation of their parents’ career roles, to understand the skills necessary to work in a variety of occupations and to consider the wide range of careers possible as they visit worksites. In addition we hope to provide a full scope of post-secondary and career options available to them. The day will consist
of tours and career focused activities.

Anishinaabe, Nongom! will showcase work from the indigenous student population at Humber College, along with the larger indigenous community of the Greater Toronto Area. The skills and talent of current indigenous students are immense, and various art forms will be exhibited. Along with the art display, current indigenous Humber students will lead workshops throughout the week.

Anishinaabe, Nongom! is an Aboriginal Student Circle (ASC) lead initiative that is in conjunction with Aboriginal Education Month at Humber College.

Humber College has the 2nd highest Aboriginal student population in Ontario! Check out Humber's Aboriginal Students' Circle, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter.

Students with a passion for visual merchandising have the opportunity to form cross-functional teams that will connect, collaborate, and create a Fashion Window concept and associated pitch. This networking night will be of interest to students with a passion for fashion management, cosmetics, photography and graphic design. Teams will pitch their concept to a panel of industry experts and the winning team receive a $1000 credit towards a photoshoot that will allow them to realize their visions.
