Building assessments into Blackboard can become rather time consuming, but there is a workaround! Humber is proud to provide faculty with a campus-wide license for Respondus. Fully compatible with Blackboard, Respondus is a premiere exam authoring tool that allows faculty to preview questions before publishing them to the LMS, publish assessments directly to Blackboard, create single exams or exam pools, as well as print exams and save files to MS Word.

Want to bring the world of work into your classrooms?
Want to engage your students in deeper learning?

In this three-day workshop, we will cover what cases are, how to run a case class and how to design a syllabus that includes cases. The sessions will be interactive and there will be homework. How do we get our students to develop a global perspective? A global education approach to learning focuses on the students’ place in the world community. This focus enriches the student experience by connecting curriculum to real life, by helping students manage conflict appropriately, and by fostering an understanding of the connections among peoples, cultures and environments. Participants will explore how teaching and learning can support an internationalized curriculum and international students.

Note: A link will be provided to registrants 24 hours before the webinar.

Markdown is a text-to-HTML conversion tool for web writers or for use on Blackboard. It allows you to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, and then convert it to structurally valid HTML. The overriding design goal for Markdown’s formatting syntax is to make it as readable as possible. Join this workshop and discover how to utilize Markdown to transform plain text documents to web-ready HTML formats.
