THE VISION

The third annual Innovation Fair brings people together to share ideas, brainstorm solutions and capture knowledge of successes and challenges in innovative programs aimed at improving the lives of children and youth. 

THE FAIR

Held to mark Universal Children’s Day (November 20), this event allows those interested in Children and Youth Programming - including students, practitioners and potential partners - to showcase their most innovative programming, domestic and/or international.

There is a link between knowing your audience and being able to deliver content to a group of learners. Effective teaching is about making connections with students in order to increase their success in a learning environment.

In this workshop, participants will explore qualities of post-secondary learners and design strategies to meet their diverse needs. This session will give participants techniques to become more effective teachers.

Workshops are 50 minutes in length & FREE for all students! Walk-ins are welcome!

We all spend time working and interacting in groups and sometimes the experience is not as positive as we want it to be. In this useful workshop, students will learn about group theory, how it applies to group work and acquire valuable strategies to help create better group dynamics.

The Humber community celebrates Aboriginal Education Month with a traditional pow wow, featuring dancers, The White Tail Singers from North Bay, hand drummers and Debestigoosh traditional drummers. 

There will also be Aboriginal vendors (just in time to start holiday shopping).
