November is the Diabetes Awareness Month. The Humber College Health Centre and William Osler Hospital are hosting a Diabetes Awareness Day.

Our guest visitor wil be Shaista Zainul RN CDE, Diabetes Outreach Coordinator, from William Osler. Please comebetween 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. for some fun and education on diabetes.

This workshop is designed for intermediate users of Apple iPad. This hands-on seminar will cover topics such taking notes during meetings, working with different types of documents, creating, editing and sharing multi-media files, saving, organizing and sharing a variety of files to/from your iPad and classroom workflow options and tools.

The session is delivered by Apple Canada. Apple devices will be available to try. If you have your own iPad, please bring it to the workshop.

We all spend time working and interacting in groups and sometimes the experience is not as positive as we want it to be. In this useful workshop, students will learn about group theory, how it applies to group work and acquire valuable strategies to help create better group dynamics.
