In this workshop, participants will explore qualities of post-secondary learners and design strategies to meet their diverse needs. This session will give participants techniques to become more effective teachers.

Creating a positive learning environment is a key way to enhance student motivation. This workshop will explore positive strategies to engage students in the classroom. The Teaching Effectiveness Certificate program is designed for those interested in the field of teaching or private sector training. The courses within this certificate program provide participants with an opportunity to explore best practices in teaching and learning and apply the skills learned in a safe environment with other classmates. The certificate is comprised of five individual courses that are designed to develop essential teaching competencies. Upon successful completion of the five courses, participants receive a Certificate of Completion.
