Creating an effective lesson plan is an integral part in delivering instruction. A well formulated lesson plan provides a guide for managing the learning environment. In this workshop, the importance of preparation by completing a needs analysis and creating learning outcomes will be explored. The participants will examine suggested elements in a lesson plan as well as an effective lesson plan template. The plan will identify what you will teach, how you will deliver the material, and how the outcomes are measured.
