In celebration of Assembly Hall's 10th anniversary, the Humber School of Creative & Performing Arts presents Swimming for Shore, stories from the Lakeshore. Written by Rex Deverell, the play tells true stories about the Lakeshore neighbourhood told through funny, tender narrative and song.
It features 22 young thespians in the second year of Humber's Theatre Performance program, giving them the opportunity to work wioth noted Canadian actress Janet Amos.

Graduating students from Humber College�۪s Film and Television Production Advanced Diploma program will be presenting their final year projects at the program�۪s annual film showcase on April 14 and 15 at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.
The Humber Film & Television showcase is the result of 16 months of work for 85 graduating students. Projects include various genres of short films, television commercials, and Public Service Announcements (PSAs). Featured works include a film about video game addiction, another about euthanasia, a film inspired by the life of Aung San Suu Kyi, a documentary about female genital mutilation, PSAs shot entirely in 3D, and much more.
Thursday show is currently sold out. Limited number of tickets available for Friday.
