There are a limited number of North campus part time staff semester permits available which will sell out. A reminder to part-time staff at North campus that your staff ID card will be activated automatically for September through December 2017 after you purchase your parking permit. This card will be your gate access card for the North Campus part-time staff Lot 4.
Creating groups in Blackboard, especially with cross listed courses, has never been easier. Find out how to create groups, manage enrolments and assign group projects. The Groups tool is easy to use and can be an effective technique in organizing classroom activities.

SafeAssign, the Blackboard equivalent of TurnItIn, can be used to encourage students to identify how to properly attribute sources rather than paraphrase or plagiarize. SafeAssign compares your submitted assignments against a set of academic papers and databases to identify areas of overlap.

Ever wanted to do more with Blackboard using external or third party resources? There are many cool tools that can be integrated into the Learn environment that help increase student engagement. Learn how to integrate video content, social media feeds, Google items, polling software or even more advanced tools such as Prezi or Jing.

Adding video and audio content to Blackboard has never been easier. Create a repository of YouTube videos or create your own podcasts or short video clips and directly load or embed this content into the Learn environment. It might seem like a daunting task, creating, editing and uploading your own videos, but the job does not have to be a difficult one and in most cases can be done rather quickly. Participants will get tips on how to efficiently edit their footage and how to upload their finished product.
