LRC East Entrance Closed May 30-31

LRC (Learning Resource Commons) East Entrance (going toward the Humber Bus Loop/Platform at the Humber North Campus) will be closed off (for general access) for repairs/improvements May 30 and 31.

Alternative entrance/s will be the LRC main entrance which is also equipped, for ease of accessibility, with an auto-door operator.

Mastering the Employment Interview - Career Development Session

Career Advancement Service (CAS) is excited to present Career Development Sessions on Mastering the Employment Interview for CE, Part-time students, and Alumni.

Session Description:

Bio-swale/Water Garden Construction

Site Services will be constructing a Bio-swale/Water Garden starting Monday, May 29 at the east end of Parking Lot # 10 along the walkway from Humber College Blvd. to the LRC.

Scott Iles will be heading up the project which will entail excavating the existing soil, adding a soil mixture which allows proper drainage, planting numerous native plant species, adding rock features and mulching the entire area to retain moisture and keep weed growth to a minimum.

This project will take approximately 3 to 4 weeks weather pending.

 

Humber Literary Review Launch

The Humber Literary Review is excited to launch its spring/summer issue on Wednesday, June 14th, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at The Steady (1051 Bloor Street West), and you're invited! With readings from Cherie Dimaline, Michael Fraser, Eva H.D., and Sadi Muktadir it's sure to be a great night.
