Workshop: Conducting Effective Meetings

Research shows that the average individuals in our society will sit through 9,000 hours of meetings in their lifetime! (Harvard Business Review, 2014). That is over 365 days spent in our meetings – not to mention the thousands and sometimes millions of dollars spent on meetings.

Vacation time is an essential part of a healthy work-life balance. All staff are encouraged to schedule and plan their yearly vacation allotment in consultation with their manager.

Acting Showcase

The 2017 Acting for Film and TV Showcase screening will take place Monday, June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at The Royal Cinema, 608 College Street (Little Italy).

Acting students will be featured in a variety of scenes, monologues and original short films made in collaboration with Humber's Film and TV Production program.

CTL: How to Engage Students in Online Courses

This workshop is designed to provide participants with a "buffet" of ideas to encourage student participation and engagement in online courses. Building a "sense of community" is important when trying to break the barriers that inhibit online learning. Learn simple "tricks" and activities that will enhance your online courses.
