We are remembering lives lost in the workplace and renewing our commitment to a safe and healthy workplace. April 28th has been designated the Day of Mourning for workers who have been killed or injured in the workplace. It is a time when workers, families, employers, and others come together to honour those who have lost their lives or have been seriously impacted by work-related accidents or occupational diseases. This day also reminds us that we must work together and renew our efforts to continually improve health and safety in the workplace.
