CTL and International: Connect Program

JOIN THE CONNECT PROGRAM AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE The International Student and Staff/Faculty/Admin Connect Mentoring Program is designed to enhance the experience of new international students at Humber College ITAL. We hope that this will be accomplished by creating an opportunity for faculty, staff, admin and Humber students to be part  of a “Welcome Team” that will engage with new international students through informal, personalized and friendly social interactions WHY?

Information Regarding Ongoing Health Issues at North Campus

On Thursday January 19, a number of students in Humber College’s North Campus residence became ill with symptoms including vomiting and abdominal pain. At this point in time we are aware of 77 students who experienced symptoms and approximately 30 who were transported to hospital.

New Student Recruitment

New Student Recruitment is pleased to announce that with the opening of the Student Welcome and Resource Centre at the Lakeshore Campus, our team will now be on site at both the North and Lakeshore Campus. We are located in the Academic & Career Success Centre in the LRC (North) and the Welcome Centre (Lakeshore), and this will be the hub for general campus tours and pre-enrolment advising appointments for prospective full-time students. CTL: Navigating Accommodations in Your Classroom

Accommodations support students’ ability to participate equally and positively in the academic environment. They reduce or eliminate disability-related barriers without compromising academic standards. In this workshop participants will examine a variety of accommodations and discuss implementation strategies that will help foster an inclusive learning environment.
