As you may have read, approximately 400 refugee claimants will be staying in the North Campus residence from June until August, with the first group arriving on June 1.

Since the initial note about this arrangement, we have had an outpouring of offers to support the people who will be living on campus. The process is still unfolding and at this point the City of Toronto and the Red Cross will be facilitating the support services for this group. There may be opportunities in the coming weeks to use our areas of expertise to assist them and we will continue to update the community as we move forward.
