Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation Construction Update

As construction continues on the Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation (Barrett CTI), the building is even closer to becoming a powerhouse of innovation for Humber. Students, faculty and staff will work together with companies large and small to help with the technological and innovation challenges facing Canada’s manufacturing industry and beyond.

Partnerships with CiscoFesto Didactic and SEW-EURODRIVE are already in place, and additional partnerships will be announced soon. This means the Barrett CTI will be home to technology that is not available at any other postsecondary institution in Canada.

Once complete in early 2019, the Barrett CTI’s 93,000 square-foot space will feature a datacentre, cyber physical factory, automated guided vehicles, prototyping labs, makerspaces, interactive technology zones and digital media studios.
