The Humber Arboretum is pleased to announce that we are now accepting registrations for on-site camps in July and August.
Humber Arboretum nature day camps are based out of the Centre for Urban Ecology, but campers spend most of their time outdoors where they make their own discoveries in the forest, river, meadows, wetlands, gardens, and ponds of the Humber Arboretum.
Camp is availble for three age groups:
- Beaver Camp: Ages 4 and 5
- Nature Camp: Ages 6 to 12
- Junior Naturalists: Ages 12 and 13
This year there are eight weeks of camp planned, each with a different theme to explore:
Healthy Planet, Healthy Lives | Monday, July 11 to Friday, July 15 |
Brilliant Birds | Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22 |
Nature in the City | Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29 |
Fantastic Freshwater | Tuesday, August 2 to Friday, August 5 |
Tune in to Nature | Monday, August 8 to Friday, August 12 |
Wilderness Survival Skills | Monday, August 15 to Friday, August 19 |
Bees and Blooms | Monday, August 22 to Friday, August 26 |
Nature Olympics | Monday, August 29 to Friday, September 2 |
Camp is $275 per week for all ages, with before- and after-care available for an additional fee.
