Did the snow earlier this week get you down? Do you feel that spring should have sprung by now? Well, if that’s so, why not celebrate Earth Day with a visit to Humber’s Archives? We have looked through our photos and newspapers to put together a display on the beautiful and picturesque Arboretum at North Campus.
Growing Humber’s Picturesque Gardens can be viewed at the North Library (4th floor of the LRC) during opening hours, and contains photographs of the evolution of the Arboretum from 1975 to the present day. The display will run until early May. We hope you’ll check it out!
For those who may not be able to make it, we have included a photograph of the display, along with an article detailing the birth of the Arboretum, to give you a taste of what we "dug out" of the Archives to highlight for the display.
